This tea koboshi Kensui bowl is made by craftsman in Tokoname.
Tokoname-yaki(ware) is well known as one of the pottery of "The Six Old Kilns" in Japan, has been produced in Tokoname city, Aichi Prefecture, the Chita Peninsula.

Kensui is a pottery bowl to throw away water after rinse chawan during the tea ceremony.
