Tours of Traditional Japanese Craft Workshops
Tablinstore primarily offers high-quality handcrafted products from several of our Japanese suppliers. Wanting to see craftsmen conducting their craft, we have received requests from our customers to tour their workshops, and we have already given tours to many of our customers from other countries.

We hope that you will take advantage of this rare, valuable experience where you can see and speak to craftsmen at work. Please look forward to the chance of purchasing items that are only available at their workshops as well.

Our mission is to convey the appeal of traditional Japanese crafts to the world, and to move our customers and make them happy. The core of our business is in helping the traditional Japanese craft industry connect to future generations.
Please feel free to ask us about available tours and dates.

Points to note:

While we have included a few details about the workshops, most of them are small, family-owned businesses so we will not publish their addresses and phone numbers on our website.

The tour will be led by a member of our staff. The tour is free. However, we will be driving to the workshops so we will bill you about 3,000 yen by Paypal beforehand for gasoline.

Eligible tour participants: Customers who have already made purchases at tablinstore

Possible number of participants: 1-3 people

Possible tour days : any day except Sundays and holidays

We may refuse participants who are in the same business as ours and others.

While we do arrange the touring schedule, please be advised that there may be instances wherein we may not be able to see the craftsmen at work depending on the workshop’s circumstances.

For cancellations, please inform us by email at least 3 days prior to your scheduled tour date.
